China, the Asian superpower is now close to buidling a rival of GPS( Global positioning system) which is controlled by U.S Air Force and used worldwide in maps for civil and military purposes. GPS is used worldwide as major tool for positioning systems, from Smartphones to Cars and from Airliners to Missile technologies. China can not risk it's military's intrest on US based system. It is expected that system will provide accuracy to civilians for 10 meters while military based version and licensed Chinese government institutions will enjoy an accuracy of 10 centimetres. However military based version outside China is only availble to Pakistani military. Chinese named the system "Beidou" after the famed star constellation known in other countries as "Big Dipper".
