Imran Khan and his three hopes


Today on 25th october government of Prime Minister Imran Khan has completed two months of his tenure. Although we are not going to dicuss his performance but it's a fact that he is now running in the last month of his 100 days plan as promised. His government from beginning was in focus not only at national but also at international level.
    Imran Khan is facing tough challenges major among them is the current ecnomic situation of the country. Pakistan foreign debt has risen to whooping 28 billion US dollars. In order to pay foreign loans he is looking towards IMF. However he is saying again and again that IMF is not only an option. Here are his three hopes to think in that way?
         Imran Khan thinks Saudi Arabia and China could help Pakistan in this difficult time. Immediately after taking charge Imran Khan visited Saudi Arabia where he was warmly welcomed. However there was no major breakthrough announced. Than due to Jamal Khashogi case, Saudi Arabia needed international support to prevent isolation at an investment conference. Imran Khan visited Saudi Arabia and this time he was given a package of 12 billion USD. Saudi Arabia will keep 3 billion USD in Pakistan account and Pakistan will be able to purchase oil on delayed payments of 3 billion dollars for 3 years.
      This news has given boom to the stock market of Pakistan which climbed near about 1500 points yesterday. The delayed payment on oil is important, as Pakistan spent most of it's import expenditure on Oil.
     Now we come towards second hope of Imran Khan. Visit of Imran to china is expected at the start of next month. Imran Khan is hopeful that China will also help Pakistan like Saudia Arabia did. Imran Khan expects that if china helps Pakistan to 5 billions US dollars, it will solve the current ecnomic situation of Pakistan for short term. Imran Khan is also thinking to discuss CPEC to get benefitsfrom it in true essence. China has repeatedly helped Pakistan and analyst say that this visit will also be fruitful for Imran Khan and Pakistan.
       Third hope of Imran Khan lies in a nation whose leader is admired by Imran Khan. Malaysian PM Mahatir Mohammad is third hope of Pakistan. Sources says that before the end of October Imran Khan will visit Malaysia. Imran Khan will hold meetings with senior leadership of the country and it is possible that Malaysia Premier announces a package of ecnomic aid to help Pakistan fighting the situation. Sources says that Mahatir Mohammad is also admirer of Imran Khan and Pakistan should also expect a good news from Malaysia. Pakistan also import large volume of cooking oil from Malaysia, it is expected that Malaysian premier will also announce something in this regard.
        The main reason behind looking towards friends is because if Pakistan ask IMF for major sum of loan than conditions of IMF would be tougher and impact the common people of Pakistan.
