Fairy Meadows a grassland near the base camp of Nanga Parbat is a place which every single adventure travller want to visit, very famous among international tourists, travellers and mountain trekkers, not only for it's beautiful landscape but also for the tract which leads to this heavenly place on Earth.

      Fairy meadows is located in District Diamer of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It take almost 12 hours from Islamabad to reach via babusar top and 16 hours via famous Karokaram Highway. After reaching Raikot bridge a 12KM jeep tract leads you to a small village named Tato. This 12KM is one of most attractive tract for adventure travellers but a nightmare for those who are afraid of dangerous roads and tracts. Tract to fairy meadows is considered one of most dangeorus tracts of world and it will take you almost 1 and half hour to reach Tato while crossing this tract. However good news is that drivers of jeeps are very well trained and if you keep your nerves under control you will reach safely at Tato.

From Tato there is another tract of approx 4KM which can't be accessed via jeep and you have to rely on your feet. It will take you approx 3 hours to cross this tract and reach your beloved destination Fairy Meadows.

From Fairy Meadows Nanga Parbat can be seen standing tall and snow covered and it's reflection into a small lake of fairy meadows is an experience which you will found nowhere in the world. Area of green fields is enclosed by mountains from most of it's side. There you can found small herds of goats and sheeps which look awesome in the green fields of fairy meadows. Small streams of water here and there with tall pine trees all around fairy meadows is an awesome place to visit. There is a small tract in opposite direction of Nanga Parbat which leads you to another small lake, where you can sit for a while and enjoy the beautiful scenery around you, nobody is there to disturb you.

    Imagine yourslef sitting in Green fields of fairy meadows with a camping site and night full of stars with reflection of moon light from snow covered Nanga Parbat and flames of Bonfire, such is the place named fairy meadows and after visiting the place you will say it's truly a place of Fairies and fantasies.

      There is no problem of secuirty and even founding European tourist is not unusual. There are three to four hotels in fairy meadows which serve you fresh meal and 24×7 at any time on demand. However you will find it difficult to find warm water for yourself. Season for tour to fairy meadows start at the end of April and will continue till mid September.
